This work portrays a view from within a cave gazing toward a boundless, serene sea, where only a few birds and a solitary sun punctuate the tranquil expanse. In contrast, the inner psychological world within the cave is chaotic, with distorted trees and stones haphazardly amassed around a stationary cargo ship, as if trapped in disorder. These traditional motifs of trees and stones symbolise enduring cultural or internal constraints, juxtaposed against the vast, calm reality beyond. The composition invites reflection on the tension between inner turmoil and external freedom, and the struggle to break free from traditional bonds.
