Cave Series

This series of works, presented through a first-person visual perspective, depicts landscapes inside and outside a cave, deconstructing everyday visuals and traditional landscape motifs to reconstruct a crowded yet solitary otherworld. It expresses resistance to the external world while seeking spiritual solace.

Confronting a seemingly normal yet utterly fractured world, where everyone appears fragile and on the verge of collapse, I dare not act rashly, choosing instead to hide and observe, only to find the ground beneath my feet unrecognisable. Unable to accept isolation by the world, I first isolate myself, building a cave to escape the noisy clamour and crafting a personal sanctuary. Through this series, I articulate struggle and loneliness, yearning for the day I can reclaim curiosity and courageously confront the collapse of both my inner world and the external one.

Landscape Model Accessories Series

The series centres on deconstructing traditional shanshui imagery and contemporary landscapes, presented through architectural model components. It aims to reflect on the composition of daily visual experiences, unveiling the fictional and constructed nature behind creation. It suggests that the scenes we perceive are not naturally formed but are assembled through selection, splicing, and imagination, inviting viewers to participate in "constructing" their own landscapes.
