書桌上散放著多張信紙，紙上卻沒有任何文字，取而代之的是細密繪製的松樹圖像。這些在嚴寒中依然翠綠挺立的松樹，傳統上象徵堅韌不拔、傲雪凌霜的君子人格。作品以松樹取代文字，讓每一張信紙都成為一封無聲的書信，彷彿寫下了一篇篇關於堅毅與生命力的故事。即使沒有文字，觀者仍能清晰「讀出」其中的意義——那是在亂世之中依然筆直生長、拒絕屈服的內在力量。

松樹的枝幹被紅線框住，卻仍在紅線內奮力伸展，展現出一種被限制卻仍頑強生長的張力。書桌下方，一棵真實而筆直的松樹與枱上信紙中的松樹形象重疊，製造出一種亦真亦幻的錯覺：彷彿紙上的堅毅已滲入現實生命，當下的生命力亦如松樹般頑強而持久。

This artwork transports the viewer into a tranquil interior space: outside the window lies the familiar tempestuous sea, while an ordinary desk takes centre stage within the room.

Scattered across the desk are numerous sheets of writing paper; yet, they bear no script. In its place are meticulously drawn images of pine trees. These pines, remaining green and upright even in harsh winters, traditionally symbolise the unyielding and lofty character of a gentleman who withstands frost and snow. By replacing words with pine trees, each sheet of paper becomes a wordless letter, seemingly scripting narratives of fortitude and vitality. Even in the absence of written language, the viewer can clearly "read" the intended meaning—that of an inner strength that grows straight and refuses to succumb amidst times of chaos.

The branches and trunks of the pines are framed by red lines, much like a regulated student assignment, yet they still struggle to stretch and grow within these constraints, displaying a tension of resilient growth under limitation. Beneath the desk, a real and straight pine tree overlaps with the image of the pine in the paper on the desk above, creating an illusion that hovers between reality and fantasy: as if the fortitude on paper has permeated into real life, and the current vitality is as tough and enduring as the pine tree itself.
